Our association with GOONJ (A Non - Profit Organization)

Social service is the work done by individuals for the benefit of the society. It aims to promote social change or development in the society by helping the underprivileged section. We as citizens, should realise our duty towards society and should try to inculcate the spirit of social service among children to reflect the difference we can make in society.

We at HPS have associated with GOONJ, ( a non profit NGO which undertakes disaster relief, humanitarian aid and community development). We encourage students to come forward and help those in need by means of donating clothes, bags, toys etc. We teach them that ” Sharing is Caring”.

The collection drive happens twice a year whereby the stuff collected is thoroughly checked and packed, by our teachers and then sent to GOONJ to reach the underprivileged section of the society, thus making a difference.
